11:54pm Realtone Cable Not Working (Code 10 error) Im at the end of my rope here. Keep it fun, don't over-practice and you'll not only make progress, but enjoy the ride the whole time. It's what learning is, you won't be a rockstar overnight unless you're a prodigy. Most importantly, no matter what cable you use, just have fun with it even if you suck at something. Temple of the Bends is one I tend to try often, as bends are one thing I can't get to register properly (my own error, maybe not enough Cowbell), the Ducks Redux is great for finger placements on the fretboard, as well. No one should be deprived of music, let alone a rather fun game, hence why I clarified what my intentions were with my suggesting the NoCable patch.Īnd Gene, Scale Racer is great for teaching you scales and keeps it a little fun, the Saloon mini game is another great one, as it helps with memorizing hand placements for what string to pick. I'd rather everyone have the extra options, just in case. Not a problem, it can be rather tough to find civilized and normal conversation and starting arguments over a cable isn't really my thing, lol. Keep shredding, guys/galsĬecilnezuto původně napsal:I agree, wholeheartedly, with this.ītw, Thank you for not being like BickDutt. My experience doesn't speak for all people, I should've worded things better, but my main intent was to offer an alternative to the cable as it's rather hard for some to get hold of. I may not be a fan of the Real Tone Cable, personally, but if you (Gene) can find one (new) for cheap enough, it's the easiest way to just plug and play the game and does have a good quality if you're just wanting to play. Remember, quality in a guitar learning software is more about note recognition and latency and how it affects your ability to learn. That is not guaranteed to get it to work. If you do get your interface to work, the best you can hope for is the same experience as you have to drop it down to the same frequency and quality. A number of people have said they got the cable after using an interface for a while and the quality of the cable was much better for use in the software. The Realtone Cable works great as it is intended. Some get it to work and claim it is better, some have major issues. So, could you describe how your speaker/headphones are setup? Are you using a laptop with a docking station? Is it linked through usb? Is it a secondary soundcard that you upgraded or is it the built in soundcard? Is it a usb soundcard? When using a headset, exactly what models of headsets did you try? You said one was analog and one usb.Caldaar původně napsal:There are different opinions because there are different experiences. Most systems this is plug in play, but the threads and configuration FAQ usually fix the few sound issues that some people run into. Most apps you wouldn't notice a delay because you don't hear it on both sides (guitar and speaker). This app is one of the few that is very critical on delays of sound because you are trying to play a gutiar, have it processed, and hear it through the speakers. So there has to be something on the output of sound from your computer. The only other cause that we have ran into is trying to use a cable that is not the Real Tone cable, but you said above you were using that. It is usually the output of sound from your computer. So for me the "game" is useless.if there is no "normal" way to fix it, wtf did the game developerĪs you can see, there is one main problem with delay.
